Charlie Rominger Memorial Scholarship
2021 Scholarship Application
The Yolo County Farm Bureau Education Corporation Charlie Rominger Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Charlie Rominger. Charlie was a long-time Director of the Yolo County Farm Bureau and served as the Chair of the Taxes and Land Use Committee Chair. He worked very hard to protect and preserve Yolo County's agricultural lands.
This scholarship is designed to give aid to students with a desire to pursue a career in the agricultural industry.
This $1,500 scholarship is awarded based upon academic achievement, career goals, extracurricular activities, determination, leadership skills, and a commitment to study agriculture.
Yolo County High School seniors entering a four-year accredited college or university or a Junior College AND pursuing a career in the agricultural industry are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students must be a resident of the State of California and a US citizen.

William E. Vannucci
Yolo County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce William E. Vannucci has been chosen to receive the 2021 Yolo County Farm Bureau Charlie Rominger Memorial Scholarship.
William is the son of Stacey F. Mounce and Kristina A Vannucci. He is currently attending Woodland High School and has a 3.99 GPA. He has excelled in school and participated in the Cross Country Team; the Swim Team, the Pep Bank, Chamber Singers, the WHS Bike Club; Kylee Lillichi Charitable and Woodland Opera House events. During this time he found he enjoys working in the family garden and growing food for his family.
William has worked at the Blue Image Pool; the Pronzin Christmas Trees, and Velocity Water Park.
William has decided to major in agriculture and plant sciences. After college he plans to return home to start his own farm-to-fork business on the family property.
